3.6.1 tag appears to be incorrect

I just updated the ASIO build script to grab 3.6.1 tag but the splash screen says

What's new in Audacity 3.6.1-alpha-20240724

That can’t be correct. I found the last tag was off too. I see it might timestamp the date of building but surely the ‘Alpha’ is incorrect?

In addition, are there any instructions on how to build a release version? I’ve only found the dev build instructions which are always missing important settings which I stumble across thanks to people letting me know. For example there’s an outstanding issue for non EN users.

if you download the source in the tar.gz form, it should be compiling with the right flags; the zip is the autogenerated version using dev variables.
