2.2.2 doesn't work at all after latest Windows 7 64 bit update

Windows 7 HP Business 64 bit, Version 2.2.2

After installing the latest Windows updates, Audacity does not function. The Track Control Panel, Audio Track, and Label Track have been replaced by a solid dark blue panel. Period. Sarcasm alert. Has the time for “in due course” for a 64 bit build arrived, PERHAPS?
