Just got a new computer and now audacity is freezing up with my blue snowball.
Didn’t have this problem for 2 weeks but it would also record like I was muffled.
Help?
Muffled sound could be a Windows update has re-enabled audio-enhancements, which should be switched off …
Disable enhancements in recording & playback tabs.

Maybe you were recording the wrong microphone. Do a scratch test.
