Hello guys, my name’s Giacomo, i’ve a little doubt about the possibility of record from more then one source like mic with Audacity, my problem is that i need to record my voice syncronized with the an audio/karaoke from youtube, for have one Audacity project where there are 2 twotrack.
One track with my voice and the other track with the audio that i listen from the speaker.

Best to do this all in Audacity rather than playing from your web browser.

The first thing to do is to set up “latency correction”. See: Latency Test - Audacity Manual

Then the process is quite simple:

  1. Download (or record) the backing track (there are plug-ins available for Firefox for downloading from YouTube).
  2. Import the file into Audacity.
  3. Record your voice.
