I ran into this issue with an imported audio file today:
The audio in the left and right stereo track is off by a few seconds, causing an awful echo.
I was wondering if there was a way to sync them or is this a lost cause?
(I use Windows 10 and 3.0.4)

Split the stereo-pair , then use time-shift tool to align them, then join back into a stereo-pair …

I wonder if that was intentional? It shouldn’t happen accidently…
Zoom-in for more-precise alignment. But in a normal stereo file left & right won’t be exactly the same so you might have to “guess” a bit.

You can line it up if delve right into samples, but it may start to (“phase” i.e. move out of alinement) as it progresses through the track. Its a weird phenomena. Sounds nice on a an acoustic guitar though.
Thank you, the fix worked!

Hi LaDolceVita1960
Can I enquire if the two tracks stay in sync as they are played or do they drift by a couple of samples as the tracks progress?
