PLAYBACK SPEED SLIDER

Windows 10, Audacity 2.2.2. On the playback speed slider, after adjusting the slider it will not return to 1 x speed and will not adjust by 100th’s of 1. How can I make it accurate to 100th’s and is there any way to make the slider longer or type in the speed.
Also is there a BPM counter for this version.

If you double click on the slider, a box will open that allows you to type in and exact speed (5 decimal places).
