Audacity LV2 support

Guys, I saw this on the documentation:

Note that LV2 effects in Audacity cannot yet display a full graphical interface.

So does this mean that if I create a plugin that measure the loudness of the audio, I cannot create a UI to show it to the user? Audacity support to LV2 is just to apply effects on the audio withou any interface that users could interact?

Sorry for the question, just want to make sure that I am no trying to do the impossible

No. It means that they don’t display the pretty LV2 interface, only a basic interface like this:

However, in Audacity 2.4.0 (due for release early next month), compatible LV2 plug-ins have their full pretty GUI like this:
