More sample rates to convert to with the Project Rate dropdown

I think it would be nice if 24kHz was added to the Project Rate dropdown. Maybe an ability to add custom sample rates to the list would work too.

I don’t think it works like that.

Sample rates have identities. They’re not just arbitrary numbers. 44100 is the rate for Audio CD. 48000 is the rate used in digital video. 96000 is the rate used in Audio Studios.

There may be custom rates, but they tend to be for one machine or job, not general use.

I think it would be nice if 24kHz was added to the Project Rate dropdown.

What job needs a custom, non-standard rate? That number is suspiciously close to 22050 which is a standard rate.

Audacity lists standard sample rates. If you need a non-standard sample rate for a specific job, you can type the value in the Project Rate box.
