My background is somewhat cosmopolitan. Before returning to Texas for college I lived in the Virgin Islands, Iran, Singapore and Sau Paolo Brazil. I also traveled around and visited many places.

I’ve had two careers: construction and art. My construction work started with refinery turn-arounds in college. I worked nights, weekends and holidays… my memory of a few of those years is almost a blank. Eventually I moved into design drafting and construction management. From boyhood I’ve been an artist and I still am. My education includes: a Liberal Arts degree, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, a Master of Science degree, a Doctoral Fellowship and graduate work in business administration & economics. I am now retired and live with my ancient father.
