Steganography and “Silent Subliminals”

So the plugin in this thread will basically force the maximum input frequency to be 4khz? Would this mean if I used a carrier frequency of 17500 hz it would be 17.5 + 4 so 21.5, meaning it would have no issues with aliasing since it’s below the digital audio bandwidth limit, or would I still have to calculate my maximum input frequency and use that number + the carrier frequency to see if it exceeds the digital audio bandwidth limit?

@steve Sorry to revive this dead thread again, but this is what the plot spectrum looks like of my audio file, what would be the maximum input frequency of this file? I tried searching around to figure out how I’d calculate it but I am still unsure. Much appreciated!

Hey there, total newbie here!
I’ve recently downloaded Audacity to make my own subliminals. I’ve recorded 5 different tracks and layered them in Audacity. Now I want to turn the whole project into “silent subliminal” via with this prompt. Should I apply it separately to each track or should I select all and apply all at once? And since silent prompt changes the rate to 17500 Hz, while extracting as wav file, should I also change the rate from 44100 (comes as default) to 17500 Hz ?

That will remove the frequencies containing the “subliminal” message.
In practice that will make no difference to the efficacy …

Is there any tutorial for how to get what this YT video shows.
I have many silent subliminals and would love to see what they are actually saying.

There is an Audacity plugin which can decode some types of subliminals …

You’d need to know the AM frequency which is visible on the spectrogram.
