With Audacity 3.4.1 on Linux I’m struggling to run any batch processing macros. I suspect that it is a path issue with the AppImage version. I’ll need to sort this out first.
Thanks Steve. Just to add, I’m on Windows 10. The legacy output folder command seems to be the only macro I’m having issues with, but I haven’t tried that many. I will put the rest to the test.
Yes I can confirm that the “legacy macro-output folder” does not work in Audacity 3.4.1.
On Linux, using this plug-in causes Audacity to crash.
@LWinterberg Considering that this plug-in works with every version of Audacity since the plug-in was written, including Audacity 3.4.0, and the fact that Audacity 3.4.1 crashes, it looks very much like a regression bug in Audacity 3.4.1 rather than a bug in the plug-in code.
Looks like this crash issue in Audacity 3.4.1 should be fixed in Audacity 3.4.2 (Crash with LegacyMacroOutputFolder.ny plug-in · Issue #5547 · audacity/audacity · GitHub)
Good
Many thanks for your replies on this matter. I too have had the issue plugin crashing 3.41, so I’ll wait and see if everything is sorted out in 3.42.
Just got 3.42 and everything works again!! Many thanks for this plugin AND for the help that you’ve given. Sooooo many thanks.
