GSnap now in Plugins, but Audacity ignores it

I placed the (32 bit) GSnap .dll file into Audacity’s plugins folder; then re-started Audacity, multiple times, re-started my computer, re-downloaded GSnap and re-placed it into the plugins folder, re-started Audacity again — and GSnap still does not appear in Audacity’s effects list. Advice?

You have to tick this box in Audacity Preferences, (I have coloured yellow) …

Then close all instances of Audacity, then when you re-start Audacity the VST effects will whiz before your eyes and GSnap should be included on the effects list.
