For Linux, the installation instructions for Nyquist plug-ins are here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/installing_effect_generator_and_analyzer_plug_ins_on_linux.html#nyquist_install
Thank you @Steve!
Only there doesn’t appear anything that reminds MultiVoiceChorus
???
T+ = See you later
I don’t understand what you mean.
Sorry, very old thread I know, but:
What’s the best (most discrete) way of converting a mono track recording of a single instrument into something that sounds like it could have been recorded with a stereo mike, using this plugin?
There is a pseudo-stereo plugin … Missing features - Audacity Support
Thanks!
I don’t get it…how do you bring your chorus into the Audacity effects menu?
The plug-in “MultiVoiceChorus.ny” is a “Nyquist plug-in” (you can recognise Nyquist plug-ins by the “.ny” file extension.
Nyquist plug-in can be easily installed using the Nyquist Plug-in Installer.
As with other types of plug-ins, after installation the plug-in is enabled in Audacity as a separate step using Audacity’s plug-in manager (Plugin Manager - Add / Remove Effects, Generators and Analyzers - Audacity Manual). This will hopefully be changed some time in the future so that Nyquist plug-ins can be installed and enabled in one step.
