Hello everyone.
In the mast, with my laptop MacBook Air computers I was able to work with Apple support to get the security to recognize and “allow” my microphone and headphones. I made several calls to get someone to figure it out.
Now I have a new desktop iMac. I keep getting un-savvy technicians who are clueless. I remind them to go to security and then unlock the settings and allow the microphone and headphones, but they tell me that the Audacity program has to “ask” for the microphone and headphones to be allowed.
Can anyone shed light on what to tell them? Or how to fix this situation. Thanks!
