Help for Audacity on Windows.

Audacity 1.2.x and 1.3.x are obsolete and no longer supported. If you still have those versions, please upgrade at https://www.audacityteam.org/download/.

hey guys

old tower finally burned out, new windows 10 lap hooked thru audiobox usb box and downloaded audacity 2.2.1 my question is with the older versions of audacity I would punch on the track and put lets say lead acoustic on the right side, can you still do that? what happended to that feature or am I missing something?

You should upgrade to 2.2.2 as soon as possible as there's a nasty bug in 2.2.1 (fixed in 2.2.2).

To record to a new track, "Shift + R" or "Shift + Record button".

Now you have to use the pan slider Image to make a mono-track left or right.
