I randomly get audio recordings from one of our automatic recorders that has this type of shutter , almost like a helicopter.
I'm working on replacing the recorder that does this , but Is there any way to fix these recordings ? Here is a sample http://apps.kcnr1460.com/media/2018/03/ ... _Minds.mp3 of what I'm talking about.
What is this skipping called and can it be fixed?

I'm going with "no". It sounds much like the kind of noise that occurs when a CD "skips", and that is notoriously difficult to improve.graydini wrote:Is there any way to fix these recordings ?

Sounds like another channel breaking through, rather than skipping.
