after you put the tune into the computer how do u change the volume so the song wont sound shrill?with other wave editors you
can adjust the volume with vu meters but with audicity you cant do this.what option does audicity offer that you can do this?

In Audacity there are two sliders on the left side of each track. One slider is a volume slider, the other is a "pan" position (left / right) slider.coonsanders wrote:with other wave editors you can adjust the volume with vu meters
Audacity has a meter toolbar, which by default is located at the top section of the main window.
To make it easier to read the meter you can drag it out of its normal position with your mouse and stretch it to the full width of the screen.
