I Recently installed ubuntu studio 9.04 and enjoying it except for one snag that really keeps me from doing something that is kinda important for music production. I cannot select the overdub option in audacity to record with my mobilepre over an audio track, im trying to record my friend rapping over the beat and the new track opens but only about maybe a second will record, aside from the it seems like the mobilepre just stops, if the mobilepre is set as my output from within audacity aswell as input the pre will stop recording and playback, if my onboard sound is output with the pre as input it will only freeze the recording, anyone know how to help me?
