keyboard shortcuts
Hi . I hope someone can help me. I would like to create a keyboard shortcut for the repair function in the effect menu. Does anyone know how? Thanks in advance.

Re: keyboard shortcuts
AFAIK it is not possible to create a k/b shortcut for any of the effects - it has been requested (and voted for) on the Wiki as a feature request.
However, if Repair is the last effect that you used thaen you can use CTRL+R to repeat the last effect used.

Thanks much for the info.
Re: keyboard shortcuts
It is possible to access effects (or whatever menu item) by keyboard although
- it takes more keystrokes (like Alt-E V V V Enter)
- the key sequence changes after intalling new effects, e.g.
- it take some experimentantion to find out, sometimes.
HOW:
Press Alt plus the letter underscorred in Effects (that is E or F or C, I do not remember)
release Alt (?optionally?)
press starting letter (or underscored letter if there are underscores)
If there are more items with the same letter, press the letter repeatedly, and when you are where you like, press Enter
Little surprise: If there is a single item, it is choosen automaticaly, do NOT press Enter
(Perhaps F10 can be used instead of Alt)
Sometimes left arrow might be needed? (If yes, I would count it as a bug in wxWidgets or M$win, not audacity.)
(Any corrections?)
