Latest Audacity Opens With Big Hole
I just reformatted my harddrive with my old Windows 7 Professional disk. Then I downloaded Audacity again. I had an old .wav file that I wanted to convert into Audacity and when I did the Audacity opened with a huge hole in it and the statement "Audacity Is Not Responding". I didn't wait around for it to open. I was able to do what I wanted with the .wav file. Anyone else had this problem?

Audacity will open WAV files natively, you don't have to convert anything. Did you File > Import the work?I had an old .wav file that I wanted to convert into Audacity
By doing what?I was able to do what I wanted with the .wav file.
How do you know it was a WAV file? Do you have Windows set to show you filename extensions?
Was the sound file right on the WAV bit barrier? 2GB or 4GB?
