Hello!! I'm using Windows 7 and the 2.1.3 version of Audacity, obtained from the.exe installer.
When I record music with my guitar, the program saves only a track but I would like to save my music in the stereo mode.
How can I do?
Thanks for your help.
Antonio

Re: Stereo Record
How are you recording your guitar?

Re: Stereo Record
A single guitar is a mono instrument. If you record in true-mono, or if you create a mono track, it will play out of both speakers.
If you have a stereo recording with silence on one side, click the little drop-down arrow, and select Split to Mono. Then farther to the left click the little "x" to delete the silent track.
...You could play & record twice (double-track) and "pan" one track to the left and one to the right, Or triple-track and pan left, right, and center (both sides).
