Like the title says. But not a normal song. It is a song which the channel of instrumental and the channel of vocals are switched. I don't know too much about the programme so a bit of information about this would be helpful. This is the song:

As you see when I try to make a karaoke with vocal reduction I actually reduce the instrumental!

Re: Make a karaoke from a particular song
Open the song so there are two blue waves in Audacity.
Use the drop-down menu under the left black arrow > Split Stereo Track.
Select the bottom track by clicking just above MUTE. > Effect (top menu bar) > Invert.
From the top wave drop-down > Make Stereo Track.
That should have reversed the two. Nobody wrote that the karaoke is going to suddenly start working. This is just solving the original problem. Most stereo songs and all mono songs can't be turned into karaoke tracks.

Re: Make a karaoke from a particular song
That should do it. Her voice track was recorded out of phase, possibly with an intentional effect, but more probably with a Devil's Adapter.

One of the delightful things this adapter does to you is make it so the lead singer vanishes for some listeners, sometimes, for no apparent reason.
