Hi... Sorry, but I'm new, and between my mixer and Audacity, I have a jillion buttons and sliders to consider. Smple question. I am trying to record old reel-to-reel tapes on my Mac. The only volume control I can find is on my mixer board. Is there none on Audacity's control panel? Using Mac 10.12.5 and Audacity 2.1.2.

Re: Where's the recording volume?
It's not unusual for consumer tape machines to have no play volume control and if you have a USB-connected mixer, the Mac and Audacity volume controls will drop out, too. So yes, the mixer is probably it.

Ok, thanks. That's ok. I just wanted to be sure I'm not missing something on the Audacity control panel.
