Hi y'all
I must be thick. I have successfully recorded a number of albums. Quality is good. All I want to do now is export each album as MP3 files. That is, 1 for each 'song' on the album. I can't get it to work.
I am currently having to load the Audacity project, delete the sections I dont want and save each track, repeat for each track. Then I have to right click on each file and change the properties to add the artist, album, track name.
There must be an easier way.
Please help
Thanks

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Re: Naming and splitting recordings
All you need to do is to place a label at each track break - use the Ctrl-B shortcut - and don't forget to place a label right at the beginning for the first track.
Then use Audacity's Export Multiple command (available from the File drop-down) to export a multiple set of WAVs, MP3s or whatever.
The Audacity Wiki, Documentation and Turorials have much useful information on how to do this - a recommended read - http://audacityteam.org/help/

So simple when you know how.
Very embarrasing for a software developer.......
