mixdown song save premix trks

mixdown song save premix trks

Hi I made a song with 10 tracks. I also have 5-6 alt trks that are muted for the mix down. I want to mix and make sure I have access to the premix tracks in case I want to remix. what is the best procedure. save or save as premix trks. >select 10 tracks for song (or will it not make any difference if I select all since the 5 alt trks are muted)> mix and render. When I want to find the premix tracks should just go to open or go to recent files? cheers

Isn't there a selection to mix down to a whole new track?
