I recently copied all my music from old pc [where I could open my music FOLDERS in Audacuty] to new pc [via usb stick] but Audacity won't let me open any of these FOLDERS. 'Audacity did not recognize the type of this file 'C:\ALL MUSIC\ALL.exe'. If it is uncompressed try importing it using 'Import Raw'
When I try to use 'Import Raw' all I get is one second of noise.
I could easily open any folder on my older pc.
Can anyone help, please?

Re: Opening music folders
".exe" indicates that the file is a Windows (or Dos) "executable" file, not an audio file. See: http://www.jegsworks.com/lessons/win/fi ... /names.htmjukeboxjackson wrote:'C:\ALL MUSIC\ALL.exe
