Configuration: Fedora 10 -- 2.6.27.19-170.2.35.fc10.i686.PAE, Audacity 1.3.5-beta (Unicode).
I have an ADS RDX-150 USB audio codec connected with input from a record changer. The USB codec is recognized by the system as "Burr-Brown USB Audio Codec at usb-0000:00:1d.7-4.1.2,fu". Pulseaudio volume control shows the USB codec and indicates that input data is being received. I can record from the USB codec using gnome-sound-recorder.
When I open Audacity preferences, the Playback dropdown lists the ALSA: USB Codec, with the default being ALSA: HDA Intel: ALC888 Analog (the audio codec on the motherboard). The Recording dropdown lists only the HDA Intel ALC888, with no option to select the USB codec.
Any suggestions on what to do to record from the ADS USB codec?

Re: USB input not recognized
You may need a more recent version of Audacity. The current version is 1.3.7
