I just started using audacity, and I found out it does not support vst instruments, which is bad because I was hoping to use it for music production,
is there any other plugin I can use in place of this? thank you

If you want to use VST instruments (and I assume that you are on Windows), I'd recommend Reaper (http://www.reaper.fm/)
