If you go to the second page of this pdf: http://cambridgesound.com/wp-content/up ... -Noise.pdf you will find a sound graph. I want to create the "speech" sound on that graph. Is there a tool Audacity has that allows me to do this? I saw that if I click Generate-->Noise I have the option of white noise, brown noise, pink noise, but I don't see anywhere where I can customize the noise.
If I can't do this in Audacity, is there some other software that allows me to create custom noise?

Re: Looking to Create Custom Noise - ... how?
You could generate white noise and then "shape" the frequency content any way you like using the Equalization effect: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/equalization.html
To check the frequency content of the filtered noise, use "Plot Spectrum": http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/plot_spectrum.html
You will probably want to set the "Axis" in Plot Spectrum to "logarithmic".
