Somebody please help me.
I just downloaded Audacity 2.1.1 on my new laptop which has Windows 10. I recorded some vocals and played them back and it sounds like I'm singing inside of a can. The sound is really low, tinny, and awful. I'm using the same microphone, singing in the same room. What gives? I checked the settings and looked at the help manual and tried again and the same thing. Does anyone have any idea why I'm suddenly getting this horrible sound? Is it my computer sound card or something?
Please help..before this kills my creative energy today. Thx
