vocals sound like im in a can

vocals sound like im in a can
Just installed Audacity on a different computer, Gateway HDMI.Windows 7. Recording thru a Audiobox USB and a Sure 57.I have added no effects, my vocals did not sound like this on my old laptop. Any ideas?
