Why cannot u record audio on mac in audacity via other programs audio ?
eg we site or application audio, and using audacity to record,
but u can do this on windows?
Is this something to do with the inconsistent "pop" sound u get on results with using garageband on equivalent to do the same thing ?
I'm still trying to track down a source as to why that happens as well.

Macs have no natural ability to record their own audio and they haven't for a long time. You can do it with a software download.
