noise reduction in 2.1.1 version
hi Gale.will there be any changes in the NOISE REDUCTION of the 2.1.1 version as apposed to the 2.1.0 version ?,as i am satisfied with the 2.1.0 version & dont fancy doing all my tapes & records again.im hoping the difference will be slight(if any).i use an xp home laptop & ion tape2/record2 pc units for importing.mickthefish.
Re: noise reduction in 2.1.1 version
The Noise Reduction effect in 2.1.1 is the same as in 2.1.0.
It is likely to also be the same in 2.1.2 though the default settings may be tweaked a little. The current defaults has "Frequency smoothing" at zero, but reports indicate that a higher value will often give slightly better results.
