Unfortunately we have to make the next 2.1.2 release quickly, because modern versions of Linux need the update to wxWidgets 3.0.2 that we have been working on. That update has taken most our available development time.
So we can't do anything until the release after 2.1.2 for the small minority of users who find that the driver solutions listed on http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Windows_10_OS don't work for them.

Have you tried both the Windows Vista and Windows 7 drivers that HP provide? Have you tried the basic hdaudio.sys Microsoft drivers?
