hi koz-i agree entirely what you say about getting to involved with noise reduction.Youve got to keep reminding yourself exactly what you want from it,i myself have completed almost 600 tapes & vinyls ALL to the same 10/12/4 settings.I've tried comparing unedited files loads of times,theres no contest!!.mickthefish

hi Jsouza-Ive tried your conservative settings of 9/2/6 in noise reduction their fine however, i seem to detect a slight fall off on the high frequencies & BASS doesnt seem as promounst-mickthefish.

One of the hard parts of audio processing is knowing when to quit, or using just enough processing to suppress undesirable sounds and no more.
