Is there an effect to produce the (creamy lead sound), with lots of substain.

Try searching for VST guitar effects.
"Extra" sustain (beyond the guitar's natural sustain) comes from compression or from overdriving an amp (or an overdrive effect).
I'm not a guitar player and I don't know what "creamy lead sound" is...
