Hi,
I have installed audacity 2.1.0 in my lenovo T410.
I am trying to capture audio from my ipad to to my laptop using audacity but can't figure out how to work this out.
T410 has a combo audio input. I have bought a headset splitter. That didn't work either. Audacity simply doesn't recognize the sound input.
I have updated the sound card driver as well.
Another option would be to capture sound while playing back in the computer. That doesn't work either.
Can anyone tell me a solution?
Thanks,
Sumit

Re: audio input to Lenovo T410
The headset splitter won't work unless it has a TRRS connector going into the combo input. You may then need to look at the computer instructions to see if the combo detects a connected input cable and switches it to an input, or if you have to go into Windows Sound and enable the input ( http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Mixer ... es#vistacp ).
Even if Audacity sees the input it will be mono and may distort if you are connecting from headphones out of iPad.
