How to create tracks in the live recording?

How do I split the recording I have done after I am finished into tracks (like song tracks on a cd)? It is too long for one cd and I need for it to be in tracks for better navigation once cds of it are burned.

Put a Label at the beginning of each song. Apple-B or Control-B. Then File > Export Multiple and Audacity will create a pile of individual song files for you.

WAV is good. Everybody goes right for the MP3 format and that can cause sound damage. Both Windows and Apple know what a WAV is.
