Combining mono tracks end to end

Post by Okieman » Mon Jan 26, 2009 3:25 am

I have a project where there one mono track, then another beneath it that starts in time where the first track ended. I want to blend these together to one track. So, the end result will be one mono track where the second half is what used to be the second independent track. How to do this?

You could go through the business of copying and cutting and pasting and trimming, but if you have them where you want them right now, I think you can just Export As WAV and Audacity will combine them for you into one mono (if I understand what you want) sound file. Both of the tracks say "Mono" in the panel on the left, correct?
