Track Syncronization

Post by agoff723 » Sun Mar 15, 2015 3:28 pm

Using the Time Shift feature seems to have it limits, if I try aligning to separate tracks with the Time Shift I can explode the view & get fairly close but I'm wondering if there is a feature to zero in this alignment within say 1-10 msec as offered in the Pro Tools "nudge" feature. I have been using Audacity just a short time but I'm very impressed with it's features & the quality of recording that I'm achieving. Thanks A. Goff

If you zoom in close enough you should be able to align to the exact sample position (better than 0.03 milliseconds if the sample rate is 44100).
See here for how to zoom: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/zooming.html
I generally find the easiest way to quickly zoom in and out is to use Ctrl+Mouse Wheel.
