Cannot export files to WAV format

I am not able to export my tracks into a WAV (or any other) format. I keep getting a message stating "cannot export audio to..." then another message box which then says " successfully exported 0 files". My project is saved and all the tracks are labeled and I have selected 'export multiple' from the file menu and then WAV as export format and selected 'using label/track name ' in the name files area. I hve only used this program once before and everything worked fine, I exported tracks to a WAV format, put the tracks into iTunes, then selected them and converted them to MP3, but not this time. Now I am stuck!

I suspect that you have labelled your tracks, and in particular the first track, with characters that Audacity won't handle.

Try simplifying the labels to alpha-numeric text only - you can always edit them later in the output files to correct the label.

I am having the same exact problem as this old post. I have changed the label tracks to alpha numeric and still get the same failure box that it can not export audio to F: ...file selected. Successfully ripped my first vinyl to .wav months ago but for some reason now I can not replicate the effort. Any ideas? I have not downloaded the new 1.3 beta as of yet but that should not matter since the first time was a success.

I'm guessing you don't have exactly the same problem because Macs don't have an F: drive. Windows machines do, but it's usually the CD drive which Windows will not write to without a lot of software help. Change the export destination to C: or possibly D: if you have two internal hard drives.
