inadvertent change [SOLVED]
While editing a file and adding track names I looked up to discover I somehow changed the appearance of the Audacity screen. I'll be the first to admit this is with the older version so if I get booted out of here I understand.
There are extras showing that were not there before. How do I go back to the 'original' view? Notice the dark blue lines at top & bottom of each track, the gray shaded area as well as the different markings at front and end of track. Other issues as well but will wait to see if this post will be permitted.

Re: inadvertant change
You selected the Envelope tool. See that "I" beam up on top. Select that.

Actually he selected Multi-Tool which includes Envelope Tool.kozikowski wrote:You selected the Envelope tool. See that "I" beam up on top. Select that.

If you select Multi-Tool that choice is saved to audacity.cfg, so restarting Audacity does not get you out of the problem.
