It's a slightly different case from the click removal issue. For click removal, the issue was that if the selection was too short it would do "nothing". In the case of Noise removal, even a single sample will do "something", just nothing useful.
Ideally the noise selection should be "several" seconds, but it's not easy to communicate that via the interface,
