Post by rpvee » Thu Mar 06, 2014 6:30 pm

Hello,

The link to download the FFmpeg import/export plugin is down on the main Audacity site. Is there anywhere else I can *safely* get it?

Thanks!!

Using Audacity v2.0.5, Windows 7 06 Mar 14

Trying to find ffmpeg_v0.6.2_for_Audacity_on_Windows.exe .

Neither of the following have valid links
http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... tml#ffdown
http://lame1.buanzo.com.ar/
including links to the Zip files. All download links go to OpenDNS - http://www.website-unavailable.com.

Also note, I have cleared my browser cache prior to attempting to download.

The links (as per my previous message) are working fine here.
Note that the Lame and Ffmpeg download site is not our website. I'd suggest that you try again and ensure that on the buanzo.com page you Left-click this link (not right-click).
If you still have trouble downloading Lame of Ffmpeg, please contact the site maintainer (there is an e-mail link near the top of the page) and include your IP address so that he can check accessibility from your location.

I communicated with the site's owner through email listed on the download page. He gave me an alternate server address.
There seemed to have been a problem with my Firefox v27.0.1 (Windows) configuration. In spite of clearing its cache, it could not find the alternate server, either.
However, using I.E. 11 worked with the alternate server (Version 11.0.9600.16518, Update version 11.0.3).
