Audacity 1.2.x is now obsolete. Please use the current Audacity 2.1.x version.

The final version of Audacity for Windows 98/ME is the legacy 2.0.0 version.

Ahh, now it's starting to become clear. On the Recording Controls -> Properties and I check on "Recording," I notice that "Stereo Mix" should be there, correct? Now, I only have CD Volume, Front Mic, Mic Volume, and Line Volume, but unfortunately, I do not have "Stereo Mix." :( Now I did update my Realtek two days ago I believe and on the Realtek Manager, I received the following options on "Mixer -> Playback: Rear, Subwoofer, Center, and PC Beep." They were never there before. So that's new, but still no sign of Stereo Mix. So if it's not located on my computer, then there's no way to record Youtube videos or computer noises, right? Becuase I have no idea what the repairman has done to the sound card.

But I do have the Enable Playback Multi Streaming, and all it does is silent everything. I also see that someone else is experiencing the same problem as I am and was told that my Realtek AC97 might not support Stereo Mix, so there isn't any other way? :(

No, I didn't get the driver disk. But I was thinking that if there were sites that gives these features to the sound cards.

Oh, man, I really apologize! I was confused once again but with Enabled recording multi-streaming, and what I have is the "Playback" instead of "recording." Sorry about that.

Don't worry about it - those interfaces can be quite confusing, and some of the settings can be hidden.
Have a good look round it and see what you can find. When you think that you have found all of the available ins and outs (recording and playback), let us know what you have and we'll see if there are any options that will allow you to record the sounds that are playing on your computer.

Thank you!! Great news! I may not have Stereo Mix, but I have two lucky items that help. One of them is the Audio Splitter which I had for two weeks and another called a double ended audio jack cable. So I put my headphones on the splitter and and the double ended audio jack cable going fro m the splitter to the microphone jack, and I tried recording and it works perfectly!! :D I had no idea it would have worked that way!!
