auto click track rate
Is there any way to have the click track rate determined for you by playing a piece of music. I'm having a little trouble getting it down.

Re: auto click track rate
I think it's still true we don't have a Beats Per Minute counter. It's a requested feature.
You can fake it with your stopwatch app and headphones. Count the beats for a minute -- or from the medical community, check the pulse (beats) for fifteen seconds and multiply by four.
BPM counters can get faked out by music that stops for an interlude or goes into doubletime in the middle of the song for effect. Some of my dance stuff does that. You, on the other hand, are really good at listening for the beat -- even when it's missing for several measures.

You can use the Time Shift Tool (two sideways black arrows) to push either the click track or the music sooner or later to help with the alignment. They both don't have to start on one single beat.
