Hi.
I'm completely new to this and am trying to edit down a 45 min wav. So far, I've successfully imported it in Audacity and saved certain sections as uaps.
The problem is that now, when I open them up and hit "play", the meter toolbar doesn't work and although the "line" moves, I hear no volume. ???
What did I do and what do I do now?
Let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Audacity newbie having problems
Audacity does not save sound files. Put the AUs and AUPs back where you found them.
To get a good, clear, stand-alone sound file, you need to Export As WAV, or Export Selection...As WAV.
