please tell me how
I am not very good with computers..I was told by a friend that this program would help me..I want to get a song from one of my files & set it so that it will play over & over again ( repeat itself) so that I can attach it to a movie & when the song ends, it will start over again & continue to play till the slide show is over .. I dont have any idea how to use Audacity or what it is all about...Can someone please just tell me how to do what I am requesting in a step by step instruction. Thank you all very much Bob

To familiarise yourself with Audacity, go through some of the tutorials and you will soon be able to do loads of stuff with it: http://audacityteam.org/wiki/index.php?title=TutorialsRIVERPOSIE wrote:I am not very good with computers..I was told by a friend that this program would help me..
To repeat a track or section. select what you want to repeat, then from the "Effects" menu select "Repeat". In the dialogue box that appears, enter the number of times that you want it to repeat and then click "OK".

If you have loaded your music into audacity, you need to export it as an MP3 file, then load the file into you slide show software, If the music is alraedy on your computer as an mp3 file you can load it straight into PTE. If you are using Pictures to Exe, there is a tab on the project options button named music, tick the repeat music after playing box.

If you click and hold inside the timeline--the blue waves--and drag sideways, that portion of the song will change color. That colored section has been "selected."
