Gale & Steve -
I'm dropping you two a note to let you know that I have yet to have that problem pop up again. So If it does and I discover it, I'll note what kind of files I was using and other factors of the project.
Again I appreciate your time on this issue.

Re: Problem with noise at beginning of Export using Envelope
Gale and Steve- I found the problem and the solution to this. It is not involving envelope. Here's how I found the issue today and because it's a holiday weekend I"m too jammed to send sample, but I imported two 30 second WAV audio files, one stereo and one mono. Top track stereo was moved to the 30 second mark and the other straight mono WAVE voice on the second track stayed at the beginning. Once I exported out as a WAV, it basically crackled the first 5 seconds. All I did was flip the tracks by moving the Mono track to top and stereo to the second position and exported again with no noise.

Thanks, another case on Mac was reported yesterday that has a similar description.syvjeff wrote:Gale and Steve- I found the problem and the solution to this. It is not involving envelope. It would be good to have the the WAV files and the project set up with the top stereo track offset from time zero. You could try http://www.sendspace.com/ or dropbox to post a zip of the files.
Please check File > Check Dependencies and copy the WAV files into the project if necessary before saving it.
