Projects and missing audio

One big problem with Audacity is that when you transfer a project to another machine (simply getting a new computer, for instance) Audacity ‘loses’ the original audio files... “Always copy all audio into project” is meaningless in this respect. “There is no way Audacity can recover these files automatically,” it states. Well, that’s fine. But other audio editorssequencers allow you to set a new path for the audio… but not Audacity. Bad omission.

and keep the AUP file and _data folder together - they must both be in the same directory.
